The Carnegie Center for the Arts and W.R. Monroe Museum

Three Rivers' Carnegie Center for the Arts is housed in one of the few remaining original "Carnegie Library" buildings built by Andrew Carnegie in the early 20th century. Now it's the focal point for concerts, dance recitals, lectures, art classes, and exhibits. The W. R. Monroe Museum, located next door to the CCA, hosts rotating exhibits in the arts, nature, science, and history.

Visitors to the CCA may see the annual juried art show, regional and local student art shows or a chamber music series in the W.R. Monroe Museum. The CCA is also instrumental in exposing the county schools to a visual and performing arts and music through the Artistic Awareness program.

For more information, please call the Carnegie Center for the Arts at (269) 273-8882. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. The Center is located at 107 N. Main St. in downtown Three Rivers.
